APRICOT LANE FARMS - BONE BLACK PROJECT
For those of you who have seen the documentary, The Biggest Little Farm, you will understand the significance of the materials I used to create the pigment for this project. Apricot Lane Farms is a Regenerative Farm that strives to create a vibrant ecosystem. When an animal dies on the farm, that animal is returned to the earth to become nutrients for the soil. John & Molly Chester, the farm’s founders, allowed me to collect the final skeletal component, the bones of some of these animals, to create the Bone Black paint for this project.
