Chefchaouen Blue #2 (24" x 78)

$3,200.00

Acrylic on Canvas

For this piece, I crossed the strait of Gibraltar into Tangier. My final goal was to find the pigment used to coat the walls of Morocco’s blue city, Chefchaouen, which is only a couple of hours away from Tangier.  However, I decided to take the long way around the country to see four different souks, what we would call street markets, in four different Moroccan cities — Marrakech, Fez, and Amizmiz — each with its own unique look, culture, and feel.

All paintings are shipped unstretched, rolled, and in a protective shipping tube. For other options please email mary.jones@christopherdulin.com.
