Kentucky Sludge #2 (36" X 48")
Acrylic on Canvas
To collect the pigment I used in this piece, I traveled to Kentucky, where iron-rich coal mine waste has wreaked havoc on local waterways. That waste, although toxic to wildlife, is nothing more than iron oxide, a pigment that predates written history.
All paintings are shipped unstretched, rolled, and in a protective shipping tube. For other options please email mary.jones@christopherdulin.com.
